3 metre beam on deck, narrow on the waterline – powerful upwind, awesome downwind, fixed or canting keel option!
With the masthead or fractional spinnaker this is a no compromise racer – it can take you at a pace you’ve never been before. The large carbon fibre rig dismantles into 2 pieces for ease of trailering.
The T830 has excelled in Europe where it has won many races. Its light weather performance is second to none.
The boat can be trailers on the special cantering trailer within the normal road limits.
The rotating carbon prod assists in sailing low downwind angles with asymmetric spinnaker. The light weight of the yacht means towing is easy with a family car. Launching can be from ramp or crane using the keel mounted lift point.Drawings are also available for the home builder, some components can be supplied to help the build process.

Design
The T830i is designed as a one design with the added advantage of being a superb PHRF racer often beating the 40 footers around the course.
The designers have utilises the latest VPP software to help create a boat that is very fast and stable upwind yet exhilarating downwind.
It features wide and comfortable side decks and a large cockpit, all of the sailing controls are simple and easy to use.
The rig features no permanent backstay with rig tension adjusted from an optional hydraulic ram under the mast. The carbon mast is designed with the mainsail roach to bend in the puffs and allow the mainsail to exhaust.
Construction
The T830i is constructed using carbon/eglass fiber and vynilester resin with a foam core. Carbon fiber is used for additional stiffening where appropriate.
Internals are used with a simple grid system of foam ringframes.
The keel and rudder are constructed using carbon fiber stiffening.
Specification
Rig – The mast is carbon fiber.
Rigging is Dyform with aluminium spreaders.
The bow prod is carbon fiber.
Deck Fitout – Full Harken/Spinlock fitout with winch option.
Sails – Mainsail, light and medium jib with a heavy air option.
Spinnakers are asymmetric with one masthead and one fractional.
Code 0 is also available.
Trailer and launching – The boat can be trailer launched using the custom keel winch or dry sailed with the central lifting hook.

Pre-order Terms and Conditions
A design pre-order allows you to secure your spot for a design while I work on updating the foils and hull patterns to the latest, most advanced shapes. This process ensures the final design meets the highest standards, but please note that there will be a waiting time as these updates are completed.
Conditions below:
1. On receipt of the 50% deposit Tboats will provide a link to a downloadable folder that contains files for the design selected, (includes pre-order 15% discount)
a. Design drawings in pdf format
b. Build process for this design
2. Tboats will provide the construction files as soon as they are finished, (usually within 10 days)
a. CNC 2D cut files for the build frames and foils
b. Build material list and parts list
c. Performance data
3. A link for the final payment, including the 15% discount, will be emailed when the final design files are completed. Once paid a link to a download folder will be provided.

• With each design I allow 3 hrs of my time for customisation
• Advice via email is free throughout the build and commission process
