The Longtze Premier Racing Yacht
Commissioned by the Chinese Longtze America’s Cup team, the Longtze Premier 6.8-meter racing yacht was born. After extensive testing of various designs, the T680, designed by Steve Thompson of Tboats, was chosen for production. This design is based on the successful T650, originally built in the Czech Republic, with one key modification: removable side decks to ensure the boats could fit into shipping containers.

The moulds were built in Vietnam by Steve Thompson to exact standards and then exported to China, where Zao Intermarine handled production. Steve played a crucial role in the initial stages, providing production drawings and supervising the build of the first yacht in China.
More than 60 boats were produced and have since been sailed across Asia and Europe. Today, the main sailing community is centered in Central Europe, where the class enjoys a strong presence at regattas.
